 Dear Family and Friends,

What an incredible year! The entire hype of Y2K passed by like a speeding roller coaster and another year is upon us.  God… never seizes to amaze us!

For Adrienne and I, this year has been full of wonderful memories and experiencing God’s love through our family and friends.  The power of God is so amazing and his grace so real in our lives.  We have so much to be thankful for and we are so undeserving of his love.  There is not one day that passes that we do not think of God’s perfect plan for our lives and how we are here on earth to bring honor and blessings to his name.  It is our desire and prayer everyday to impact the lives of the people we come in contact with, so that they may see and experience his love through us.  We would like to take this time to share with you some of the wonderful blessings his has done in our lives this past year.

 Family Vacations

We began the year with a trip to Atlanta, Georgia for Valentine’s weekend.  Alex’s best friend was changing jobs and both of our families decided to take a trip together. We stayed with friends and had a wonderful time and enjoyed some great fellowship.  Then a couple of months later the Arduino’s and Cox’s (the couples we stayed with) came down and spend Spring Break with us in Orlando.

In May 2000, we celebrated our 4th anniversary (one month early) and Alex’s birthday in the ocean somewhere between Mexico and Jamaica on a 7-day Carnival cruise.  We had a blast and met two great couples from the Northeast while on the cruise.  We had such a great time that we decided we would schedule a 3-day cruise for spring 2001 and go with our friends here from Orlando, Fl.  We are looking forward to that trip next year.

Finally, in September 2000, we decided to go visit our Cousins in Boston, Massachusetts.  We went sailing through the Boston Harbor, visited Scituate Harbor Yacht Club, walked on the Harvard Campus, rode the “T” railways and visited some great museums.  This was the first time Alex had ever been in Boston and it was a fun time with family.  Then, Jay & Evelyn decided to come down for a visit to Florida and stayed with us for the Thanksgiving weekend.  We love you guys!

 Family Additions

On August 22, 2000, our lives changed… we were blessed with our first niece in our family.  Gianna Lizette Morales.  She was born to Sidney & Lizette Morales (Alex’s brother).  Gianna is so cute and so adorable.  She is growing up fast and getting bigger everyday.  Te queremos  muchisimo Gianna!!!

Speaking of additions, we decided late this year, to stop avoiding having children so now we are waiting for God’s perfect timing.  Please pray for his will to be done in our lives regarding this! Kasey (our dog) is as cute as she has always been!

Church

We continue to be very involved with the Married Young Adult Ministry in our church (Northland).  We continue to build relationships with many couples and the group is still growing every day. Some of our fondest memories this year is getting together with the couples and just sharing and building relationships. We love you guys in MYAM! Please pray that God will continue to use us for connecting couples and providing them an avenue to build relationships with each other.

 Work/House

Alex continues to work as a Finance Coordinator for the Orange County Fire Department and Adrienne is still working for Orlando Orthopeadic Center in Management as the Reception Supervisor.  We enjoyed working together in the house this past year doing some accent painting, decorating, and even putting up the fireplace mantel.

Have wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New Year! May the blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you this holiday season and for years to come. Please keep in touch! Our email address is AlexMorales@amexol.net, our home number is 407-273-4363 and our mailing address is 4442 Riverton Drive Orlando, Fl 32817.  God bless you and keep you safe.

 In the Love of Christ,

 Alex & Adrienne Morales
