 Dear Family and Friends,

Here we are, right before the turn of the century! In looking back at 1999, there have been some great memories made in our family and we would like to take this opportunity during this holiday season to share some of these wonderful memories with each of you.

We ended 1998 with an incredible trip around Europe and we began this year in a brand new house. Praise God!!! We closed the deal to our house on December 23, 1998 (in the nick-of-time) and we did not have a chance to have Christmas in our new house.  This year will be the first Christmas for us here in the new house.  We have made some great strides in getting everything in order throughout the year and we even did some decorative painting around the house during the summer.

This whole year, we have been very involved with the Married Young Adults Ministry (MYAM) at our Church in Longwood, Florida (Northland: A Church Distributed).  We have made so many friends through this ministry this year alone and the group continues to grow each and every day. We even had a bible study group at our house on Friday nights and it was a lot of fun.  Some of our fondest memories this year have been getting together with the couples and just sharing and building relationships. We LOVE YOU GUYS in MYAM!!! Please continue to pray for this Ministry in our church, that God will continue to bless us and that we may continue to bless others.  We know that many great relationships have and will continue to grow through MYAM.

Speaking of relationships and MYAM, God has blessed Alex in a very special way this year.  God brought him his best friend, Danny Gordon. This was something very dear to Alex and God has answered his prayer (Proverbs 18:24).  Danny has been married for 4.5 years to his lovely wife Nichole and they have two kids, Grayson (3yrs old) and Ashton (2yrs old).  Danny is an architect for a well-known firm here in Orlando and Nichole is a full-time mom and a Wedding Coordinator for Calvary Assembly. Alex has been very blessed through his relationship with Danny and is thankful to Jesus Christ for bringing this great Christian brother to his life.  We have been extremely blessed by the relationship we both have established with Danny & Nichole.  God’s timing is perfect; he is seldom early but is never too late!

Furthermore, Adrienne was promoted earlier this year to a Management position within her company (Orlando Orthopedics Center).  She is the Reception Supervisor and has a staff of 12 people.  This new position has brought many challenges for her, but she enjoys working and making a difference.  Alex continues to work in the Financial Services Division of the Orange County Fire Rescue Department.  He has had some challenges of his own through all the hurricanes, wildfires, and all the crazy natural disasters that seem to have occurred this past year here in Florida.  FEMA is a four-letter word he probably does not want to talk about! J One of the biggest perks he has, is that he works like 10 minutes from the house, so he comes home for lunch and relaxes before going back.  He enjoys every minute of it.

Kasey (our doggy) is doing great! She will be turning four this month.  Oh yea, before we forget, we have no announcement about a baby! Nothing is cooking!  And no, we are not trying just yet!! But please keep us in your prayers, anything can happen in Y2K!! J

We are so excited about what God is doing in our lives and what God is going to do through us in 2000.  We have been blessed in so many ways this year and our prayer is to make a difference in this world so that Jesus Christ can be magnified through our lives.  We want to be a reflection of God’s love!

Have a wonderful and joyous Christmas, remember the famous phrase, “Jesus is the Reason for the Season” and have a blessed Christmas and a prosperous new year!!  God bless you and your family this holiday season.  Please keep in touch!
